@idkzero: Fact is this topic is discuess and suggested an almost a daily basis. The argument always boils down to a no. Mainly because such a system could be abused. And would be abused if it was actually made.

I don't know about you, but it is really successful in some other games. The ability to /votekick would only be enabled in battles, where weapons or items never drop. So, I think it would prove a more positive motion in the court, than a negative. And think about it, why would you want to kick a person out of the group, unless he was doing absolutly nothing? nobody wants to run a 7/8 or 6/8 vs. a 8/8 team. Unless you're really stupid.

Because he got a green drop. Because he is complaining about the group(whcih we assume it is true) and they dislike it.

well, you know what, the ability to /votekick should be enabled on a player if he hasn't moved in 30secs from a safespot or the current spawn area. Like or dislike the person. He should also be pointed out on a general notify to the whole group that says, 'player1 has not moved from the general spawn area in 30secs-45secs-1min'

Do you mind changing the name of the topic? it makes it seem like its one of Anet events and makes absolutly no sense to what you are suggesting.
About the votekick being available when the person doesnt move for 1 minute, that im good for, i mean if a person doesnt move for a set minutes and hasnt told the group hold on brb bio, he most of the time deserves a kick.

hi little kick em sidekick.
add this crap to one of the existing kick threads instead of creating fresh drek.
instead of a vote why not just have anyone not moving in your 30 seconds be kicked from the game automatically to save time and prevent abuse?

I like that idea. If the character hasn't left the safety zone 30 seconds after the battle begins, he is autokicked from the area. In the faction farming areas, this should completely eliminate leechers.

Ok in faction farming zones ok, ab and stuff like that i can understand, but mission/quests no, since i coudl be out with guildies, and have to do something so brb, they dont mind, but if i took more then 30seconds/1 minute game would kick me out, even know it was completly legit :|

Ahem... bots. 'Nuf said about the no movement idea.
The best thing would be to at first only implement this in PvP. Basically, more than 50% of the group must agree for it to happen.
4 person = 3 say yes
8 person = 5 say yes
12 person (Alliance Battles) = 8 say yes
If this was at least implemented into PvP, it would help get rid of leachers, or people trying to "teamkill."
The problems with it in PvE are far more numerous, and so it may not be wise to implement it there. However, there is no excuse for not having this feature in PvP, where the worst thing that can happen is the group cripples themselves.

I Know My Name Says Bot but i Never Used One in my life. I Just got Guildwars Factions Because i was referred by a friend about Guild wars i have already beaten the role playing mission and now started to earn faction for the guild Im in and also to complete all my titles
I Don't like any of the other faction earning missions but Fort Asponwood
That is where i first became aware of what a leecher is
I think the Kick option in the game would be great tho if its gonna have a auto kick Feature, It should be atleast set to 1 min or more becase it takes me atleast 30 seconds just to load the area because of my slow @!! computer
Also another security feature should be implented before you hit the battle button
Have it like fourms use to register. Stick a picture of a random code for you to type into a empty box before the enter Battle Becomes availible to click on
This would stop Bots from enter the game and if anyleechers do enter you know for sure there a human player there and can be kicked out afterwards by a autokick feature
I don't agree with this vote/autokick feature being available in any other missions but the ones where you can't choose your teammates
But i do agree this votekick feature might end up being abused because of pricks so autokic would be better
And if vote or auto kick not be added i still think the verfiction code picture should be added to stop bots from hitting the enter battle button and do nothing in the game

Ok, what is to stop them from simply adjusting their bot to move out of safe zone?
It's only another click. Some do it already by mistake.
And for the love of god, never suggest the picture test. That alone is responsible for cutting down forum traffic by 70% (or completely stopping the traffic on boards and blogs that started mandating it), since that many people simply will not go though that process even once. Now imagine being exposed to that crap everytime you zone.

I was thinking of this myself too, and how would it be abused? If the people kick you, it wasn't a really nice/good/intelligent party to team up with.

This has been suggested far too many times and also as the people said, they can easily kick a person out if he/she got a really cool item. And then other things people can think of...

SImple solution, treat it as though they just finnished a mission. All items that were designated for them go with them back to the outpost.
